Anthony & Angela

We are high school sweethearts who have now been married for nearly 30 years. During those 30 years, we managed to raise 3 amazing daughters who have grown up into beautiful women - one of them even has 4 boys! Yup, you read that right, we are grandparents :)

Anthony served this country as a United States Marine and retired after 20 years. His experience in the service lent him a perspective not held by all - empathy for those suffering from PTSD. His capacity for empathy was put into practice in the next chapter of his life while serving as a student pastor to an average of 45 students. Throughout his years in doing so, he walked along side several students as they struggled with various mental health challenges. As you could imagine, simply put, Covid complicated things.

Raising 3 girls while your hubby deploys 9 times is no small feat. While doing so, Angela suffered on and off from depression & anxiety. Her survival was dependent upon countless prayers offered up by a ceaseless community of believers. And Prozac (Its ok, I'm writing this, so I can say it). Angela wasn't the only one.

The deployments triggered early onset bi-polar in one of our daughters. Having to watch our daughter live with this affliction as a young lady was heartbreaking and full of challenges for our sweet girl. With the struggles each passing year brought, it became apparent she would greatly benefit from the assistance a service dog could offer. Acquiring one would be easier said than done. Once she received her service dog, navigating adulthood with bi-polar became plausible. Her continued success has been inspiring and peaked our interest in everything service dogs can do for those who are battling their mental health.

The reason why we have shared these personal details with you about our lives is to emphasize why we decided to breed standard poodles. We have experienced first hand how a service dog can transform one's life. Knowing how hard it can be for people to obtain a service dog, as well as financially afford one, has only sparked a passion for raising service dog prospects while making them more accessible for people who need them. With this passion comes our promise to donate puppies in every litter to our partners who aid in training and placing service dogs with people and in specialty programs - such as schools or with Wounded Warriors.
